Non-invasive eye tracking technology based on corneal reflex by Di GAO, Gui-sheng YIN, Chun-guang MA

    Published 2012-12-01
“…For the deficiencies that existing eye tracking devices are complex, have too many restrictions on the position, need to wear special equipment.A novel method of eye tracking technology using the five near-infrared light as the source of corneal reflex was put forward. This method did not need any wearing equipment, and could adapt to the natural head movement, the algorithm designed calculates the position of sight in high accuracy.A novel method of pupil edge fitting was put forward:fitted circularly and removed false points to get accurate position of pupil center, improved mapping accuracy.Used the GrayScale of image to initialize eye position quickly and accurately.Using the theory of cross-ratio invariance to make coordinate mapping, finally calculated the attention coordinate accurately.…”

Channel estimation method for massive MIMO system in Rice channel by Xueli WANG, Haiquan WANG, Xiao LI, Dakuan YANG

    Published 2017-09-01
“…The high-speed mobile transportations, such as high-speed rails,pilot-less airplanes, are mostly in the open areas.Due to the existence of line of sight (LOS) propagations, the Rayleigh fading model can not describe the channels very well in these environments. The Rice fading channel model is constituted of a LOS component and a multiple-path component, which can characterize the channels more accurately.Based on the Rice model, the improved channel estimation methods and corresponding decoding methods were proposed based on the superimposed training sequences for massive multiple input multiple output (MIMO) system. The improved channel estimation methods were divided into two cases:the LOS component was known to the receiver and the other was unknown. The numerical simulation results show that the superiority of the proposed methods.…”

Rêver la forêt, cultiver les arbres by Alan Guillou

    Published 2020-07-01
“…The article reports on an educational approach that departs from the usual frames of reference by instilling the importance of the role of trees and forests in a profession that sometimes loses sight of the tree’s role as a tool. By working on the aesthetic and symbolic aspects of trees, these pupils have adopted an old heritage, a long cultural affiliation of their profession to the forest. …”

Wavelet Analysis Method to Solve the Problem of Wireless Location Tracking by Baoquan Chen, Yongyi Mao

    Published 2013-10-01
“…The signal of non-line-of-sight propagation(NLoS)largely determine the positioning accuracy of the mobile station in wireless location, the wavelet analysis theory has obvious advantages in signal processing.A positioning and tracking algorithm of the mobile station(MS)in the NLoS environment of cellular network was presented.Using wavelet transform signal decomposition and reconstruction, the TDOA measurement error correction,re-use classic Chan algorithm to estimate the location of the mobile station, with the corresponding distance threshold to track the location of the mobile station location. The simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively achieve the static positioning and dynamic tracking of the location of the mobile station, and significantly better than the classical algorithm simulation results in the same environment, and effectively improve the positioning accuracy.…”

Potential and methods of wireless communications for Internet of things based on UAV by Qingheng SONG, Fuchun ZHENG

    Published 2019-03-01
“…In the absence of terrestrial infrastructure for Internet of things (IoT),an effective low-cost wireless connection can be provided by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) based wireless communication platform.Compared with the terrestrial IoT communication platform, the low-altitude UAV wireless communication system enjoys the advantage of rapid deployment, low cost,on-demand deployment, flexible configuration and better communication channel quality due to short-range line-of-sight links. On the other hand, several new challenges must be overcome due to the high mobility and energy consumption limitations of UAV.An overview of UAV enabled IoT wireless communication was provided, including the air-to-ground channel model, the power consumption model,as well as the applications in UAV based data dissemination/collection and relay, with particular reference to the new opportunities and solutions in these application areas.…”

Analysis and status of the scattering channel model for ultraviolet communications by Renzhi YUAN, Zhifeng WANG, Mugen PENG

    Published 2021-06-01
“…Due to its unique features such as high local security, low background noise, and non-light-of-sight communication, the ultraviolet communication, which uses the light wave of “solar blind” wavelength (200~280 nm) as the information carrier, becomes a promising optical communication technique for applications in both secure communications and internet of vehicles and so on.The scattering channel models were classified into analytical channel models and stochastic channel models according to their different computational efficiencies. The research of the first three scattering orders in analytical channel models and the Monte-Carlo simulation model and Monte-Carlo integration model in stochastic channel models were mainly focused on.Some future research directions for the scattering channel model of ultraviolet communications were also provided.…”

    Published 2019-06-01
“…To solve the problem of the optimal strategy selection for moving target defense, the defense strategy was defined formally, the defense principle from the perspective of attack surface shifting and exploration surface enlarging was taken into account. Then, network attack-defense behaviors were analyzed from the sight of dynamic confrontation and bounded information.According to the analysis of attack-defense game types and confrontation process, the moving target defense model based on signaling game was constructed.Meanwhile, the method to quantify strategies was improved and the solution of perfect Bayesian equilibrium was proposed.Furthermore, the optimal defense strategy selection algorithm was designed by the equilibrium analysis. Finally, the simulation demonstrates the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed optimal strategy and selection method.…”
