Knowledge-Based Deep Learning for Time-Efficient Inverse Dynamics
Published 2025-01-01“…Accurate understanding of muscle activation and muscle forces plays an essential role in neuro-rehabilitation and musculoskeletal disorder treatments. Computational musculoskeletal modeling has been widely used as a powerful non-invasive tool to estimate them through inverse dynamics using static optimization, but the inherent computational complexity results in time-consuming analysis. …”

Associates of Cardiopulmonary Arrest in the Perihemodialytic Period
Published 2014-01-01“…Predictors of cardiopulmonary arrest were considered for logistic model inclusion. Missed treatments due to hospitalization, lower body mass, coronary artery disease, heart failure, lower albumin and hemoglobin, lower dialysate potassium, higher serum calcium, greater erythropoietin stimulating agent dose, and normalized protein catabolic rate (J-shaped) were associated with peridialytic cardiopulmonary arrest. …”

Prevalence and Factors Associated with Preterm Birth in Urban Areas: Case-Control Study
Published 2025-01-01“…Multivariable logistic regression analysis revealed a significant association between PTB and the following factors: education levels, antenatal care (ANC) visits [Adjusted Odds Ratio (AOR)=7.91 (95% CI: 2.43–25.71)], premature rupture of membranes (PROM) [AOR=5.25 (95% CI: 2.01–13.74)], gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) [AOR=5.27 (95% CI: 1.49–18.58)], and preeclampsia [AOR=9.47 (95% CI: 3.02–29.73)].Conclusion: Identifying pregnant women at risk of preterm birth is crucial, and treatments are available to reduce the risk. Our research suggests that factors such as education level, ANC visits, PROM, GDM, and preeclampsia predispose pregnant women to preterm birth.…”

Effect of High-Pressure Processing on Color, Texture and Volatile Profile During Sardine Refrigeration
Published 2025-01-01“…Volatile groups such as aldehyde and ketone were slightly impacted by both storage and HPP treatments (i.e., pressure and holding time). Ketone levels were consistently lower in all treated samples, ranging from 25.3% to 33.6% at 400 MPa and 600 MPa, respectively, compared to the control samples, which had a ketone level of 40.5% on day 14. …”
