Physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling of enantioselective hydroxychloroquine kinetics and impact of genetic polymorphisms by Gabriella de Souza Gomes Ribeiro, Leandro Francisco Pippa, Fernanda de Lima Moreira, Natália Valadares de Moraes

    Published 2025-01-01
“…This work aimed to build physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models to predict the pharmacokinetics (PK) of R-and S-HCQ and assess the impact of major genetic polymorphisms on PK. Whole-body PBPK models accounting for first-order absorption, Rodgers and Rowland distribution method, and enzyme kinetics data were built for R-and S-HCQ. …”

Multi-Band mm-Wave Wearable Antenna Synthesized with a Genetic Algorithm by Arebu Dejen, Murad Ridwan, Jeevani Jayasinghe, Jaume Anguera

    Published 2022-01-01
“…The reference patch antenna was etched on a flexible polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fabric substrate with an overall dimension of 18 mm × 18 mm × 0.6 mm and optimized the patch geometry using a binary-coded genetic algorithm. The algorithm iteratively creates a new shape of the path surface, evaluates the cost function, and returns the best-fitted geometry based on the formulated fitness function. …”

Research on multi-AP joint transmission scheme based on improved genetic algorithm by Man LIU, Xuming FANG

    Published 2023-09-01
“…In order to solve the problem that overlapping basic service set (OBSS) users are subject to serious co-frequency interference in the dense Wi-Fi network, resulting in low signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) of received signals, low data transmission rate or inability to transmit, a multi-access point (AP) joint transmission (JT) scheme based on improved genetic algorithm (IGA) selection of AP coordination set was proposed.Firstly, the SINR threshold method was used to divide all station (STA) in the system into central users and edge users, and the JT scheme was adopted for edge users. Then, with the goal of maximizing the throughput of edge users, IGA was proposed to determine the appropriate coordinated AP for each edge user to form its own AP coordination set, and maximize the potential gain of JT technology. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme can effectively reduce the co-frequency interference between BSS and improve the performance and throughput of BSS edge users in dense network.…”
