Published 2020-01-01“…The properties of energy absorption can be effectively improved by different induced structures for thin-walled straight tube.Finite element software(LS-DYNA) was used to simulate the transient response of thin-walled circular tube with internal and outer staggered grooves under axial impact.Axial shock characteristics of force for thin-walled circular tubes with different grooves were compared.The mean load formula considering strain rate effect was derived based on Hosseinipour ’s deformation model.Geometric parameter was introduced to predict peak load.The results show that the thin-walled circular tube with internal and outer staggered grooves can reduce 62.24% peak load and 56.26% mean load compared with thin-walled straight tube.The fold deformation is symmetrical and consistent with Hosseinipour’s deformation model.The prediction results of mean load and peak load are consistent with the finite element results.…”

Research of the Calculation Method of Bending Strength of Non-orthogonal Helical Face Gear
Published 2020-01-01“…There is no analytical calculation method and formula for the calculation of the bending strength of the face gear.For this reason,based on the principle of tooth surface contact analysis,the formula for calculating the length of the bending arm is derived,reference the calculation standard (ISO 10300(3):2014) of bevel gear bending strength,an analytical calculation method for the root bending strength of non-orthogonal helical face gear is proposed.Taking a parameter face gear transmission pair as an example,the Abaqus finite element software is used to calculate the root bending strength,and the root bending stress value of the non-orthogonal helical face gear is extracted.The finite element results are compared with the analytical calculation results,the error is about 8.5%.The results show that the calculation method of the calculation method of the root bending stress of non-orthogonal helical face gears is correct and feasible.The problem that the calculation of the bending strength of the face gear has no analytical formula is solved.After refinement and perfection,it is expected to form a basic calculation formula for the bending strength design of the face gear.…”

Influence of the Pre-compression Amount of the Spring Excitation Segment on the Meshing Performance of the Spring Clutch
Published 2015-01-01“…The self-excitation of the spring clutch is realized through the pre-compression between the excitation coils at either end of the spring and housing to generate frictional torque to energize the spring.The pre-compression amount of excitation coils at either end of the spring has a great impact on the binding property and lifetime of spring clutch.The spring clutch dynamics model is established by using the finite element analysis method.On ABAQUS platform,the speed synchronization of high speed spring clutch output shell and the input shell,the Mises stress and radial displacement of spring under different pre-compression are solved,and then the pre-compression amount condition of the self-exciting meshing of the spring clutch is obtained,and it is compared with the critical amount of pre-compression of clutch obtained by the analytic solution.Besides,the finite element analysis results show that the steady state stress distribution of spring exhibits M shape,that is,the transition coils have peak stress while the middle coils have uniform stress distribution.The basis for optimal design of spring clutch can be provided.…”
