Electroacupuncture Involved in Motor Cortex and Hypoglossal Neural Control to Improve Voluntary Swallowing of Poststroke Dysphagia Mice
Published 2020-01-01“…Four main conclusions can be drawn from our study: (i) EA may enhance the local field potential in noninfarction area of M1, activate the swallowing-related neurons (pyramidal cells), and increase the motor conduction of noninfarction area in voluntary swallowing; (ii) EA may improve the blood flow in both M1 on the healthy side and deglutition muscles and relieve PSD symptoms; (iii) EA could increase the motor conduction velocity (MCV) in hypoglossal nerve, enhance the EMG of mylohyoid muscle, alleviate the paralysis of swallowing muscles, release the substance P, and restore the ability to drink water; and (iv) EA can boost the functional compensation of M1 in the noninfarction side, strengthen the excitatory of hypoglossal nerve, and be involved in the voluntary swallowing neural control to improve PSD. …”

Resilience of Fishery Economy in Fujian Coastal Areas from the Perspective of Institutional Evolution
Published 2025-01-01“…Three main conclusions are drawn: 1) Under the influence of different types of shocks (the super-typhoon in 2006, the financial crisis in 2008, and the upgrading of the fishing industry in 2017), the output value fluctuates significantly owing to the dual effects of production and supply, and the output is more strongly affected by production and more drastically reflective of natural disasters. 2) A spatial regularity exists in the impact of regional crises (typhoons) on industrial resilience resistance; the closer to the disaster center, the poorer the performance of industrial resilience resistance. …”

Network Meta-Analysis of Different Acupuncture Therapies in Treatment of Low Back Myofascitis
Published 2023-02-01“…If the nodes of included studies showed good consistency after analysis (P>0.05), the consistency model was used for data analysis, and the probability ranking diagram of each acupuncture therapy was drawn. If the nodes of included studies had poor consistency after analysis (P<0.05), the non-consistency model was used for data analysis.ResultsA total of 41 RCTs were included with 6 258 patients, involving eight kinds of acupuncture therapies, including electroacupuncture, akupotomye, warming needle moxibustion, acupuncture, subcutaneous needling, acupoint catgut embedding, moxa-wool moxibustion and blood-letting puncturing. (1) Total effective rate: all included acupuncture therapies were more effective than western medication (P<0.05); akupotomye, subcutaneous needling, and acupoint catgut embedding were all more effective than acupuncture (P<0.05); akupotomye, warming needle moxibustion, subcutaneous needling, acupoint catgut embedding were all more effective than electroacupuncture (P<0.05). (2) VAS score:the VAS scores of akupotomye, warming needle moxibustion, subcutaneous needling acupoint catgut embedding, moxa-wool moxibustion were lower than that of electroacupuncture (P<0.05); and the scores of akupotomye, acupoint catgut embedding, moxa-wool moxibustion were lower than that of acupuncture (P<0.05). …”

The relationship between physical activity and career decision-making self-efficacy in Chinese college students: the mediating roles of self-control and social anxiety
Published 2025-01-01“…A total of 5,000 samples were randomly drawn for the purpose of validating the research hypotheses, with the determination being based on whether the 95% confidence interval encompassed the value of 0.Results(1) Physical activity was found to positively predict career decision-making self-efficacy, as evidenced by (Estimate = 0.590, p < 0.001). (2) Self-control was demonstrated to play a mediating role in the connection between physical activity and career decision-making self-efficacy, with the effect indicated by (Estimate = 0.075, 95%CI(0.042, 0.113)]. (3) Social anxiety was likewise shown to assume a mediating role within the relationship between physical activity and career decision-making self-efficacy, as manifested by [Estimate = 0.009, 95%CI(0.002, 0.020)]. (4) A chain mediating effect was observed between physical activity and career decision-making self-efficacy for the combination of self-control and social anxiety, with [Estimate = 0.032, 95%CI(0.008, 0.057)].ConclusionThese findings provided significant theoretical support for physical activity as an effective means to enhance university students' career decision-making self-efficacy and offered references for designing sports activity programs. …”
