Joint Next-Hop/Relay Selection for Distributive Multihop Cooperative Networks by Ahmed Alkhayyat

    Published 2015-01-01
“…Cooperative networks that use adjacent nodes to relay hearing data are employed as an effective technique to deal with channel fading, thereby enhancing the network performances. Next-hop and relay nodes selection schemes determine the optimal next-hop node toward the destination and relay node between the source and the optimal next-hop and/or destination. …”

AODV-HE routing algorithm based on minimum hop and energy of node by Xiang YU, Zhi PENG, Shiyan WANG, Li LIU

    Published 2016-06-01
“…AODV routing protocol takes the minimum hop as the only basis in route selection, causing the uneven allocation of resources and reduction in network lifetime.A routing algorithm based on minimum hops and energy of node(AODV-HE)was proposed.By integrating both minimum hop and residual energy of each node, the algorithm optimized the routing mechanism and presented a selection weight of reverse routing, based on which the best route was chosen.Simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively increase packet delivery ratio and reduce the end-end delay, and it can also improve the allocation of network resources and extend network lifetime.…”

Error performance of multi-branch dual-hop PF cooperative systems by Guangqiu LI, Jiayun DONG, Tao JIANG

    Published 2016-09-01
“…Design of multi-branch dual-hop phase-only forward(PF)cooperative systems with continuous phase frequency shift keying(CPFSK)modulation needs to determine the number of branch and modulation index. The usual solution of determining the above parameters is the time-consuming and inefficient computer simulation. An efficient solution of determining these parameters is theoretical analysis method.Semi-analytical expressions for the average bit error rate(ABER)of multi-branch dual-hop PF cooperative systems in conjunction with discrimination detection CPFSK over time-selective Rayleigh fading channels was presented. Two cases with and without antenna selection at the relays and maximum-ratio combining(MRC)receive diversity at the destination were considered. The simulation results show that numerical calculation results and simulation results for the ABERs of PF,discrimination detection,CPFSK cooperative systems are consistent and show that the above ABER theory results of CPFSK cooperative systems can be used to design PF cooperative systems.…”
