The error between the field test results and computed data is 14.9%, the settlement calculated by the present method shows good agreement with the reported results, and the correlativity coefficients R2 are greater than 0.9223, which signifies that the present method is suitable for the theoretical calculation and prediction of the composite foundation settlement of linear viscoelastic soil when piles are used to strengthen the foundation. …”
