Optimization of pretreatment conditions for determination of ethyl carbamate content in cheese by GC-MS/MS
Published 2024-04-01“…The results showed that the optimal pretreatment conditions were as follows: 2 ml of deionized water was added to the sample for mixing, 1 ml of acetonitrile was added for extraction, the sample was centrifuged at 0 ℃ and 6 000 r/min for 8 min, the supernatant was cleaned-up by an alkaline diatomaceous earth solid-phase extraction cartridge (2 g/10 ml), n-hexane drenching, eluted with 20 ml dichloromethane, nitrogen blown against the eluent to about 0.5 ml, and then the supernatant was set volume with methanol for GC-MS/MS detection and quantified by external standard method. The method was linear in the mass concentration range of 5-200 ng/ml with the correlation coefficient R2>0.99. …”

Data Mining of 24-Hour Cumulative Precipitation Data in Iran Using Machine Learning: Multilayer Perceptron Neural Network and Decision Tree
Published 2025-06-01“…The decision tree analysis classified Iran provinces into seven clusters based on precipitation characteristics; clusters 4 and 7 represent provinces with minimum (including Isfahan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Yazd) and maximum precipitation (including Gilan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Mazandaran), respectively. Linear regression showed a significant effect of the time variable with 0.209 on precipitation variance. …”

A combined XFEM and RSM approach for predicting crack propagation in nearby buildings during foundation pit construction
Published 2025-05-01“…Single-factor analysis showed that elastic modulus and Poisson’s ratio of the silty clay layer, elastic modulus of sandy soil, and pit distance have near-linear effects on crack propagation. In contrast, cohesion, density, and Poisson’s ratio of sandy soil exhibited extremum points, with certain factors showing high sensitivity in specific ranges. …”

A Microwave Frequency Measurement System Based on Si3N4 Ring-Assisted Mach-Zehnder Interferometer
Published 2020-01-01“…By using single-sideband modulation, the microwave signal with unknown frequency is converted to an optical sideband signal, which is used to probe the two complementary output optical powers of the ring-assisted Mach-Zehnder interferometer, then a fixed frequency-to-power mapping is established by obtaining a highly linear amplitude comparison function (ACF). High-precision frequency measurement with a root mean square error (RMSE) of less than 30 MHz was achieved in a frequency range of 5.2 GHz, and relative low-precision frequency measurement with a RMSE of less than 102 MHz was achieved in a frequency range of 11 GHz. …”
