The scrapes of the gills, fins and skin were examined for presence of parasitic fauna under a light microscope. Dactylogyrus sp. (Monogenea), Tetrahymena sp. (Ciliata), Vorticella sp. (Ciliata), Philodina sp. (Metazoa) were identified from all of the examined fishes.
