description The dynamics performance of serpentine belt accessory drive( SBAD) system is influenced by the tensioner arrangement parameter including tensioner installation position and installation angle. In order to control the vibration of SBDA system,taking the tensioner arrangement parameter as design variable,taking the maximum effectiveness coefficient of the tensioner and the minimum transverse vibration amplitude of belt span as objective,the two optimization models including a multi- objective and a single- objective are established,The optimization of a three pulleys SBAD system is carried out,By comparing the optimization result and counting process between the two optimization schemes,the effectiveness of the single objective optimization method with introducing weight coefficient is point out.
