| Summary: | An influence of high-carbon (alloyed steel) work-piece heating rate on heating duration and quality has been analyzed in the paper. Taking steel grades 08КП and 1Х18Н9Т as examples the paper reveals that fast heating can lead to additional consumption of organic fuel and also overheating that requires a defect removal by annealing that is also related with significant increase of power consumption. |
