| Summary: | In a context of rapid urbanization, urban wastewater represents a major challenge for
the environment and public health. This paper analyzes the sources of wastewater generation,
the technologies and infrastructure for its collection, as well as modern treatment method.
Considering the values of the quality indicators of wastewater discharged into the sewage
networks of localities and the fact that there are companies that use a large volume of water
and, implicitly, discharge a large volume of water, the article presents the technologies used to
