With the approach of political anthropology of mental health, attentive to the categorization of users, this paper focuses on a local political project of user participation and lay engagement in a mental health network. The results show the paradoxes of integrating former “patients” in a network of mental health professionals and outline a typology of inclusive and segregated mechanisms. |
