It may present at birth or in the early childhood. We report a case of asymptomatic plaque over the left knee of a 1-year-old girl in whom a skin biopsy confirmed the diagnosis. Hypertrichosis and hyperhidrosis over a plaque in an infant are extremely rare and are the highlighting features of this case. Early identification of this condition may avoid unnecessary investigations and may help reduce the anxiety of the parents. |
