| Summary: | <span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: ">Four genera and 13 species of Lemnaceae are currently known to occure in Colombia. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: " lang="EN-US">The presence of Wolffiella oblonga (Phil.) Hegelm. in Colombia is confirmed for the first time. Descriptions of the family and genera are given, as also keys to species, illustrations, information about the distribution of the species. A short explanatory glossary is also provided.<span> </span>Nomenclature follows the recent monograph of the family (Landolt, 1986).</span><br> <span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: ">Actualmente se conocen en Colombia 4 géneros y 13 especies de la familia Lemnaceae. <em>Wolffiella oblonga </em>(Phil.) Hegelm., se registra por primera vez para el territorio, Se presentan descripciones de la familia y de los géneros, claves para determinar las especies, distribución geográfica, ilustraciones, y un glosario explicativo de la terminología usada. La nomenclatura se basa en la reciente monografía de la familia presentada por Landolt (1986).</span> |
