description Abstract Gemella morbillorum is a gram-positive coccus that is part of the normal microbiota of the human oral cavity and gastrointestinal tract. It is an opportunistic pathogen that can cause invasive infections, including septic arthritis. Septic arthritis caused by Gemella morbillorum is relatively rare, but when it occurs, it can lead to severe joint damage and other complications if not promptly diagnosed and treated. Here, we report a case of recurrent septic arthritis caused by Gemella morbillorum.
