description The paper proposes an analysis of the tourist potential in the Cross-Border Region Galați - Southern Moldova. For bibliographic research, articles from Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and Clarivate were utilized. The identification of tourist potential objectives was conducted online. The research results indicate a high potential for tourism and agrotourism in the area, which is currently underutilized. The promotional tools available online have limited and incomplete information, many in Russian, and are difficult to access. The development of an online tourist map is a viable project that can contribute to the regional tourism development, benefiting local communities, public authorities, and the business environment.
