Description
Summary:The study aims to analyze the manifestation of postural control in individuals with orthopedic foot disorders and to identify the specific factors that influence functionalrecovery. Given the critical role of the foot in maintaining balance and stability of the body, any dysfunction at this level may affect the entire kinetic chain, leading to postural deviations. The research utilized computerized stabilography to assess differences between a group of individuals with orthopedic conditions and a control group of healthy individuals. The results of the statistical analysis revealed significant differences, particularly in lateral stability, between the two groups. In the frontal plane, the group with orthopedic conditions exhibited atvalue of 3.04, with aP<0.01P<0.01, indicating decreased stability. Additionally, in the sagittal plane, statistically significant differences were observed, with greater errors in executing motor tasks. These findings underscore the necessity for developing individualized rehabilitation programs aimed at enhancing proprioceptive responses and correcting postural compensations in this patient population.
