Description
Summary:The notion of cognitive dissonance, introduced by L.Festinger, does take into account the multiple factors of social interaction. The author introduces the general notion of “psycho-social dissonance” as discrepancy between individual or group conceptions and the norms of social reference group (society), which leads to psychic discomfort, tension, conflict, represented in psychosomatics, personal (or group) deviation, or stimulating the persons or social groups to creative self-development. The model of psycho-social dissonance allows to use formulas for connecting the psycho-social characteristics of a personality, social groups, the society, to predict social processes, and to design the strategy to prevent social crises and corruption .
