| Summary: | A scalable video coding schemes based db2 lifting wavelet was described. A new method that using the db2 lifting wavelet to implement the MCTF was proposed. Based on the classification of the pixel, different formulation to compute high-pass frame and low-pass frame was given. The experimental results indicate that, in the scalable video coding system based on db2 wavelet, the video quality of fully reconstructed sequences and reconstructed sequences after being extracted are improved distinctly compared with the scalable video coding system based on Haar wavelet. |
