Summary:Surgical treatment is effective but with a certain risk of serious complications which repeatedly increase in the presence of IHD. Intraoperative myocardial revascularization can reduce this risk. Much attention is paid to noninvasive method of diagnostics of coronary atherosclerosis. Multispiral computer tomography is the leading non invasive method of diagnostics. Modern computer tomographs demonstrate high sensitivity and specificity in the assessment of coronary arteries.
