description The three- dimensional bevel gear is established in Pro / E by using parameterization modeling method. Taking the advantage of Pro / E and ABAQUS dedicated interface,the bevel gear model is imported into ABAQUS and the model analysis is carried out by using ABAQUS. The first six natural frequency and vibration model shape are extracted and compared with web bevel gear. A theoretical basis for dynamic characteristic analysis and gear reducer design are provided.
