Description
Summary:This study investigates the interdependence between informational skills and digital competencies, and how an educational intervention can strengthen this relationship in university students. Using Plithogenic n-SuperHyperGraphs as a modeling mechanism, 40 students were assessed through questionnaires and practical tests before and after a ten-week experiment. Findings revealed new associations, such as a strong positive correlation (0.82) between information searching and digital literacy. Significantly, the percentage of students with high-level integrated skills increased from 12.5% to 37.5% after the intervention. Although the intervention improved all dimensions regardless of sociodemographic variables, female students, engineering students, and the 18-20 age group showed the greatest progress. The study proposes a novel approach to assess these multidimensional competencies and suggests the need to integrate these transversal skills into university curricula to better prepare students for the digital academic and professional environment.
