This article reviewed studies on influencing factors of postoperative constipation, mechanism and application status of acupoint massage in prevention and treatment of postoperative constipation, in order to provide theoretical basis for relieve postoperative constipation and improve quality of life in elderly undergoing orthopedic surgery.
