Summary: | Rare forms of ectopic pregnancies including ovarian caesarean scar interstitial and heterotopic pregnancies present significant diagnostic and management challenges due to their atypical implantation sites. This case series provides an in depth analysis of these uncommon yet high risk ectopic pregnancies focusing on clinical presentation diagnostic intricacies and therapeutic approaches. Through retrospective case reviews we highlight the complexities in identifying these rare conditions. Advanced diagnostic techniques play a crucial role in early detection which is essential to mitigate the risks of catastrophic complications like severe haemorrhage uterine rupture and in some instances hysterectomy. This series underscores the need for heightened clinical vigilance and a tailored approach to managing rare ectopic pregnancies. With prompt and accurate intervention maternal morbidity can be reduced. Our findings contribute to evolving understanding of optimal management strategies for these complex and potentially life-threatening cases offering critical insight into improving patient care in such scenarios. |
