Description
Summary:Plug setting tool is one of the key tools for plug and perforating operation in unconventional oil and gas reservoirs such as shale gas and tight sand gas. With the development of multistage fracturing volume stimulation techniques for unconventional oil and gas horizontal wells, the number of downhole ignition has been increased from 4~6 to 10~20 in plug and perforating operation. The disadvantages such as time consuming maintenance, easy to make mistakes in assembling, large connecting length of typical type 20 Baker setting tool are gradually exposed. High cost and insufficient setting capacity limit the widespread application of the imported disposable setting tool. A tpye 20 quick assembly setting tool with compact structure and easy to assemble has been designed, and that can be reused, automatically balance downhole pressure and release inner pressure. Morever its key technical specifications such as shear force, temperature rating, pressrue rating have been verified by shear force test, high temperature and high pressure test, and plug setting test. More than 1500 sets of the tpye 20 quick assembly setting tool have been applied in 102 shale gas and tight sand gas horizontal wells in southern Sichuan, providing technical support for multi-cluster fracturing, and promoting the localization of key tools for unconventional oil and gas volumetrc fracturing.
