description Relevance of the research: the need for methodological support of the state policy with regard to the implementation of project management in education necessitates the development of a fundamentally new model of project training for managers. The study objective is to provide methodological support for the creation of organizational and pedagogical conditions for developing managerial and project competencies of educational leaders, as well as for the development of their leadership skills and their personal development. Organizational, pedagogical and methodological conditions of project training of educational leaders constitute the subject of the study. Pedagogical design was carried out on the basis of a set of methodological principles, including the principle of conceptual unity of the project, the principle of a holistic design of the pedagogical process, the principle of historicism, the principle of the pedagogical phenomenon development, etc. Methods: literature review, documentary, structural and functional analysis; socio-pedagogical, psychological, pedagogical and educational design; structural, pedagogical and graphical modeling. The novelty of the project lies in the gradual immersion of each student in various social roles (applicant, learner, master, leader and expert) which is accompanied with constant individual interactive psychological support. Results: development and implementation of the socio-pedagogical project that ensures the formation of managerial and project competencies of educational managers, as well as their personal development. The project is presented in the form of a pedagogical and graphical model. Main conclusions: a fl exible model of educational managers’ training has been developed and substantiated. This model serves as the basis for the development of managerial and project competencies, leadership skills and personal development of the managers in education. Practical Significance of the model developed lies in the universality of its application in professional training of managers of any level and of the teaching staff in the fi eld of education, as well as of the managers and specialists involved in other fi elds of the national economy in case of appropriate methodological refi nement.
