Summary:At present, milk processing enterprises’ urgent task is the production of competitive goods. It is known that competitiveness is influenced by a variety of factors, the systematization of which is the aim of this study. The factors influencing competitiveness of food products have been studied and generalized. The factors influencing competitiveness of dairy products have been identified and structured from the factors studied. The most significant of them are safety, quality and price. Such factors as trademark, advertizing, behavior of competitors, packing, sales promotion, functionality, etc have been also considered. It have been established that in total all factors are a system of competitiveness of dairy products at a separately taken dairy enterprise, and each separate factor depends on some other indicators. Having impact on competitiveness of production, the factors change each other. Thus, the producer has to take into account an optimum ratio of competitiveness factors of production.
