| Summary: | Analyzing the influence of Lev Tolstoy on early Russian cinema, the researcher selects shooting reels of the writer, trying to film the events of his life (“Perishing of the Great Elder”), the interest of the writer to modern cinema and the first film adaptation of his works (“War and Peace”, “Father Sergius”). The first films associated with Tolstoy, outlined the problems of the permissible and impermissible in art, film adaptation, fidelity to the source, the boundaries of interpretation, time, privacy.
Анализируя влияние творчества Льва Толстого на ранний русский кинематограф, исследовательница выделяет хроникальные съемки писателя, по-пытку экранизировать события его жизни («Уход великого старца»), интерес писателя к современному кинематографу и первые экранизации его произведений («Война и мир», «Отец Сергий»). Первые фильмы, связанные с Толстым, обозначили проблемы дозволенного и недозволенного в искусстве, экранизации, верности первоисточнику, границы интерпретации, временнóй дистанции, неприкосновенности частной жизни. |
