Summary:System reactive power in short supply is one of the main reasons for wind farm voltage collapse, so actions should be taken to effectively regulate wind farm reactive voltage. It presented a TCR type SVC reactive power compensation device applying in wind power and took bus voltage as the main control goal, and unified power grid AVC (automatic voltage control) was accepted to steady voltage with this method.
