The average skin temperature of GV, and the skin temperature of Dazhui (GV14), Zhiyang (GV9) and Mingmen (GV4) were measured before and after exercise for 12 weeks by infrared thermal scanner.Results:After 12 weeks of exercise, a marked infrared radiant track along the GV were observed in the subjects of the exercise group. The average skin temperature of GV and the skin temperature of Dazhui, Mingmen were ascended (<italic>P</italic><0.05) compared to 12 weeks before, and were also higher compared to those of the control group (<italic>P</italic><0.05).Conclusion:Baduanjin exercise could raise skin temperature of the GV and enhance its energy metabolism. |
