Summary:<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 7.5pt; font-family: HelveticaNeue-Roman*1*1; mso-bidi-font-family: HelveticaNeue-Roman*1*1;">Desde el punto de vista de la Ling&uuml;&iacute;stica Cognitiva, toda forma, y como tal se entiende desde el morfema hasta la construcci&oacute;n sint&aacute;ctica, implica un sentido; consecuentemente, cualquier cambio en la forma implicar&aacute; tambi&eacute;n un cambio en el sentido. Dicho esto, en este trabajo hemos tratado de sistematizar las diferencias sem&aacute;nticas que se dan entre los sustantivos deverbales alternantes, dado que, como ya advert&iacute;an Monge (1978) o Fern&aacute;ndez Ram&iacute;rez (1986), no son sin&oacute;nimos. Se trata de sustantivos que comparten el mismo verbo matriz pero que difieren en su forma, ya sea porque adoptan distinto sufijo o porque siguen procesos de derivaci&oacute;n diferentes.</span></p><br>Since the point of view of Cognitive Linguistics; any linguistic form has its own meaning; therefore; any change in the form implies a change in its meaning. Given that; the main goal of this contribution is to systematize the meaning differences among certain type of deverbal nouns. They share the same matrix verb; but they differ in their form; either because they use a different suffix or because they follow different derivational process.
