Summary: | This research approaches the learning and paths developed during the exercise of 8 principals of schools with good performance. It was used the technique « Life Story ». To this, it was rebuilt the path of the principals in 4 stages: high school, college, continuing education before become principal, and continuing education after become principal. For the training instances, it was considered learning of informal and formal instances. The results show 4 learning: communication and positive interpersonal relationships; teaching teacher role, teaching-learning, administration and managing. In relation to training instances, the most significant instances were those associated to informal instances. In addition, in relation with the methods of learning, the most discussed topics were: observation models, debates and practicing coordination and execution roles in real projects. Finally, this research intend to an approach to questions such as learning methods of principals and their daily itineraries, to develop effective and meaningful training programs to them. |
