The study was carried out by applying a self-report questionnaire constructed by the author in order to identify changes in social status. The research group included 70 women: 25-44 years old - 55.7%, 45-62 years old - 44.3%. According to the opinion of the respondents, the subjective attributes of the social status are more important for the contemporary woman. Young women establish attributes with reference to personal qualities in the first half of the hierarchy, adult women equally value the subjective and objective side of social status.
