However, the effectiveness of these systems depends on the accuracy of the data collected and the beekeeper’s ability to interpret and act upon this information. Moreover, while monitoring systems have the potential to enhance colony health, there are concerns about the cost, accessibility, and the need for technical expertise, which could limit widespread adoption among smallscale beekeepers. Overall, the use of monitoring systems in beehives represents a promising tool for enhancing bee colony health, though its success will rely on overcoming the challenges of implementation and ensuring that beekeepers can utilize the data effectively to support their colonies. |
