| Summary: | The generation of science goes through several stages and can be influenced by various factors. With an emphasis on showing a literature analysis of scientific production to understand its trends, the objective of this study is to perform a theoretical analysis of scientific production, understanding the current dimensions that affect academic research in universities. Under the logical framework methodology using hermeneutics as a qualitative study, a theoretical-reflective and critical approach was made that allows us to understand the internal and external variables that influence the production of science. Through data collection and the participation of experts, the causal problems affecting the university are reflected and, in turn, information is provided on opportunities as a benchmarking tool. It is concluded that currently the research approach can be classified under the theory of academic capitalism, considering conducting research under private interests and due to the rise of the generation of science aligned with projects. |
