This study’s objective was to analyze mood states in relation to the training program from high performance deep runners. Seven male deep runner athletes (age: 25.57 ± 4.61 years; beginning age in the athletic sport: 17.54 ± 3.41 years; practice time: 8.00 ± 3.00 years), answered to the POMS questionnaire during three training periods (pre competitive, competitive and transition), totalizing 12 weeks.
