Summary:Aims: This study aimed identify the degree to which female principals of public education schools in the city of Riyadh apply administrative monitoring. In addition, to identify the level of administrative development of female principals of public schools in the city of Riyadh. Finally, it aimed to investigate whether there is a statistical significant relationship between the degree to which female principals of public education schools apply administrative monitoring and develop their administrative performance. Methodology: The descriptive correlational approach was adopted. A questionnaire to collect the data was created for this purpose. Results: After analyzing the data, the results showed that the female principals of public education schools practice highly administrative monitoring as the field of preventive monitoring primarily, followed by the field of concurrent monitoring, while the field of remedial monitoring came in last place. It was also found that the principals of public education schools practiced all areas of administrative monitoring to a significant degree. Moreover, the results showed that the female principals of public education schools agreed to a very large degree on the level of administrative development of the principals of public education schools. The results finally revealed a statistical significant relationship between the degree of applying administrative monitoring and preventive monitoring.
