description The purpose of this article is to expose the process and results of a Linked Open Data modeling project conducted in the context of the Montreal neighbourhoods which disappeared in the 1950s and 1960s. Using data extracted from archival documents, the QDMTL project proposes a semantic model for the representation of digitised archival collections together with a description of the cultural heritage stemming from the former neighbourhoods. The dataset created during this project is exposed in the form of a set of triples, using Semantic Web technologies. This project aims to establish the viability and relevance of such an approach for the study of former neighbourhoods of Montreal, and more broadly for the history of this city.
