Summary:The dynamics of agricultural production and the index of agricultural production in Russia, in the Southern Federal District and the Republic of Adygeya are considered. As a result, the main problems of agriculture are identified and strategic directions for ensuring sustainable growth of the industry are outlined. Measures to improve agricultural policy to increase the profitability of agricultural production are proposed: consolidation of subsidies, a new system of lending, improving budgeting and concessional lending to agriculture.
