Description
Summary:Reconstruction and analysis of a public art experience performed by a group of artists in 1985 in the underground station Callao in Buenos Aires. José Garófalo, Martín Reyna, Armando Rearte, Luis Pereyra and Duilio Pierri painted there 83 murals and during the opening ceremony, the group Las Inalámbricas accomplished a performance called Casamiento con el arte. This artistic event suddenly ended because of the police’s censure procedure and the murals were covered by the transport company a few months later, as a result of repeated requests from public transport users.
