| Summary: | The article presents the nature and size of culture forms that reduce or eliminate social threats among the inhabitants of the rural environment - the Wierzbica Commune. Attention was focused on those cultural activities that contribute to counteracting social threats, and thus increase the cultural activity of respondents of the surveyed commune. The aspects of culture and their impact on the inhabitants of socially endangered areas were analyzed. Empirical research has confirmed the existence of a relationship between participation in culture and the existing social threats among the studied group. The collected data made it possible to make an attempt to assess the participation in the culture of the inhabitants of the Wierzbica Commune, their interests, preferences and related expectations. Individual diagnosis of social threats and their effects allowed to define the conditions of participation in culture. The scope of social assistance related to social threats was also defined. |
