description It proposed an improved adaptive harmonic current detection algorithm for active filter based on the shortcoming of the existing variable step-size LMS algorithm for harmonic current detection. The algorithm can eliminate the interference attributed by harmonic current to step updating and improve detection accuracy by correlating average ratio estimation of original input signal in error signal. At the same time, through further analysis of its convergence condition and steady state performance, it described the advantage of this algorithm in fast convergence and small steady-state error. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieves the expected performance in harmonic current detection.
