Description
Summary:In the theoretical perspective of Semantics of Argumentative Possibilities, we propose a semantic and conceptual representation of the word autorité and syntagmas d’autorité and de l’autorité. The analysis originates from a query on the negative discursive axiologisation of these linguistic expressions and the concept of authority in the academic circle. Our hypothesis is that this phenomenon both semantic-discursive and sociological is due to the crossing of authorities and hierarchies (authorities of institutional power, administrative power, knowledge power). The exploratory research presented here, based on a corpus collected from the database FRANTEXT, covers the semantic-discursive process of axiologisation (positive or negative) of the mentioned linguistic expressions, in connection with their semantic environment.
