This new type called “digital literature” is only accessible through computer support. Indeed, computer-assisted literary creation has existed for more than forty years, many terms are attributed to it, such as “computer literature”, “electronic literature”, “e-literature”, “cyberliterature. This raises to questions: What does digital technology bring to literary creation? What are the specific properties of digital literature? In this article, we try to provide some answers, focusing on the specific properties of digital literature in order to allow writers to experiment and create literary works using this digital medium. |
