Summary:This study aimed to compare physiological and neuromuscular indexes of judokas in different weight categories. Eighteen male judokas took part of the study grouped into three categories: extra-light/half-light, light/half-middle and middle/half-heavy weight. The following evaluations were performed: Counter Movement Jump (CMJ); Special Judo Fitness Test (SJFT); match simulation to obtain the peak blood lactate (LACmax) and the percentage of the blood lactate removal (BLR); incremental test to obtain anaerobic threshold (vAT) and peak velocity (PV) and pull test in the judogui to obtain the rate of force development (RFD).
