Description
Summary:The interference rejection estimation in frequency sharing between fixed service systems and cellular networks in the millimeter wave (mmWave) band is a crucial approach for 5G communication systems. While this approach has received considerable attention, general scenarios still require further exploration. In this paper, we propose a new methodology to evaluate the impact of interference from cellular networks on fixed service systems in the mmWave band. To assess the interference impact, we employ a coverage probability model and develop new theoretical expressions to calculate the coverage probability of the fixed service system in the presence of interference from a cellular system. Specifically, we provide the coverage probability of a fixed service system concerning a cellular system in downlink. Employing the obtained numerical results demonstrates an efficient analysis of the interference impact from a cellular network on a fixed service system, reducing the computational cost of evaluating the interference process between both systems.
