Summary:Today`s world is undergoing rapid changes in all fields of activity, generated by the cultural, historical, social and economic factors. Therefore, education worldwide is subjected to alterations, and different approaches are necessary to be implemented in the teaching learning process. Consequently, it is the teacher`s responsibility to explore and find various methods, to keep up with the latest trends in the field so as to continually prove his efficiency for the further academic success of the students. The current school year may be considered provocative in terms of innovative teaching methods that teachers have to adopt in a record time, with obvious emphasis on technology and the demanding new roles that the teacher of the 21stcentury has to assume. The paper tackles the idea of successful teacher in the present troubling society.
