| Summary: | The ongoing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has accounted for significant implications on all the public health institutions, and the same stands true for medical colleges. An extensive search of all materials related to the topic was carried out in the PubMed search engine, and a total of 12 articles were selected based on the suitability with the current review objectives. Owing to the fact that the disease spreads predominantly by close contact and airborne mode, it was decided to close the medical colleges for students.
