Description
Summary:This article, which reports on a didactic experiment carried out to verify whether student-student collaboration helps to remedy the writing difficulties of FLE learners, sheds light on the relationship between the Self and the Other in this type of verbal interaction. Our contribution questions not the student writings collected as part of this research but the relationship of the Self to the Other in collaboration. Indeed, we emphasize that in a collaborative context, the quality of the psychosocial relationship is decisive in the acquisition of help from the Other, taking into account the dysfunctions linked to insufficient knowledge in FLE which can hinder collaboration. The results obtained indicate that the psychosocial and socio-cognitive relationship between students is built in a double congruence : social underpinned by affect, then cognitive.
